In this article published on ON.CC, some very interesting details are brought into the light about Left Behind MV : The MV cost HK$ 1.5 million to produce, it's the most expensive MV of aMEI new album " Story Thief ". At first, aMEI was supposed to star in the MV but at the last minute, the creative team and her decided to hire an actress to replace her. Reason : they wanted the viewer not to be emotionally involved because of aMEI . They wanted to keep a neutral tone to the video, so the viewer can focus on the story and not on aMEI . aMEI just watched the video twice, on a iPhone, and she was getting too emotional so she couldn't watch it in its entirety. Later, at home, she watched it and burst into tears. JJ Lin composed the song along with aMEI .
